The Cowal Way
The main walk is 47 miles / 75.4km from Portavadie beside Loch Fyne to Ardgarten by Loch Long. This is divided into 6 shorter walks of between 9 and 17.6km. There are also loop walks ranging from 8.9km to 16.6km. Along the way the route climbs to 1540m / 5050 feet which gives spectacular views, as well as lush glens and woodlands and a wide variety of birds and wildlife to spot.
